Critter Art

When it came down to the art section of the nursery budget, I knew we were going to be tight on the money, so I decided, "Hey, why can't I paint something!"

I got inspiration from the fabrics in the room and a scheme started to form!

First, I made the little birds from the drapery fabric to go along the bookcase.

Then I took the animals off of the floor pillows to put over the crib..

I have a few more art projects to complete to go over the changing table and on the other side of the bookcase, but Mr. Brodie has to be around for them.

We are nearly finished with the nursery-- stay tuned to see final pictures of everything!
