Lookin' good Mama!

Pillows

On my to do list was to make pillows for the bonus room... the only problem--I have never made pillows or sewed a zipper.

I began by seeing Grace's tutorial on making pillows on her blog--Design Sponge.

Can't be that hard right?

JoAnn's had a 50% off sale on fabrics and I decided I should finally bite the bullet. I chose indoor/outdoor fabric because I knew they would get a lot of wear and tear. 

I washed, ironed, and cut out the pieces. One by one, I put them together.

The pattern did not line up perfectly with this pattern, but the zipper looks decent!

It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I am proud of how they turned out--not great but definitely good for a first timer!

Never say Never

I finally get it.

Pinterest is after my own heart.
